I founded Fioranelli Consulting because government agencies deserve GIS advisory that starts from how the public sector actually works — not from what a vendor has to sell.
My path here wasn't linear, and that's by design. I started as a county GIS director, moved into enterprise account management at Esri, then led national NG911 business development at Michael Baker International/DATAMARK — including Alabama's first statewide, multi-year NG911 initiative. That combination of hands-on technical work, vendor-side perspective, and large-scale public-sector business development is what I bring to every engagement.
I hold a master's degree in GIS and am a certified GIS Professional (GISP). I'm based in Ashburn, Virginia, and work with agencies and municipalities nationwide.
